Indira Gandhi College Of Physical Education is run and managed by the Society,Shree Samartha Shikshan Prasarak Mandal which was founded by Shree Arun Joshi Sir in the year 1974.Society started the regular programme of physical education to provide trained and discipline physical education teachers by establishing this training college in the year 1993 which is recognised by Government and affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. Indira Gandhi College of Physical Education was founded with the primary objective of providing Physical Education to Undergraduate Students from Nagpur. The institution quickly rose to beome one of the most prominent College in Nagpur,known as a centre of Physical Education excellence.We have undertaken a wide range of extension and out reach programmes, aimed at making our Students socially conscious, Compassionate and responsible Citizens of our Country.
